Though he had a stellar game, Shane Renouf could not prevent his team, the Louisiana Crocodiles, from losing, 7-3, to the Adirondack Lumberjacks. Renouf was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Adirondack pitcher Jerry Pearson got the win, upping his record to 7-2. Nate Pace got the loss. The Lumberjacks now own a record of 75-48.

In the top of the 2nd, Adirondack took the lead on a 2-run single by David Gilmore. At the time, the Lumberjacks were trailing 2-1, but Gilmore's hit with two outs against Louisiana pitcher Nate Pace put them in front, 3-2.

"No complaints from me," said Lumberjacks manager Daniel Brenton. "I like what I saw out there."
